Christmas Markets to visit in the US (and open for 2020!)

I love Christmas markets. They evoke the spirit of Christmas. Stalls lined up offering holiday favorites from spiced wine to minced meat pies, from ornaments to handcrafted toys. There truly is something for everyone at a Christmas market. Although they are extremely popular in Europe, Christmas markets only recently began to pop up in the US. So if you’re looking for that Christmas feel head to one of these markets still taking place this year.

Holiday Shops at Bryant Park

The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park

This year the Shops at Bryant Park return to NYC more streamlined. A decision was made to include fewer shops so that they could widen traffic areas to allow visitors to shop safely during the pandemic. In addition to wider walkways, all of the shops have contactless payment available, which I feel is long overdue in the US. The ice rink at Bryant Park is open this year however you will have to book tickets in advance in order to skate. You can make reservations for the ice rink here. Bryant Park Skating Rink.
