Make time for the things you love!

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve posted. The last couple of months have been a haze of adjusting to my new job. Regrettably, I have let my blog posts fall off since then. However, I’m now back and I’m excited.

May and June are crazy months for me. The first two weeks of May I was in NJ helping a friend. This past weekend I was working CrossFit East Regionals and in less than a week…I’m headed to Europe for four weeks! As soon as I’m back I’m flying to Arkansas to help a friend with her event. So yes, I’ve been busy.

So, it’s good to be home back writing this blog and sharing my experiences. The whole time I was away from my blog, I kept thinking about how I was going to get back to it. When I was going to find the time to start writing again.

I think that’s it though, you have to find the time for the things you love to do. If you keep putting them off for a time when you “might” be able to do it, you’ll never do anything you want to do. If you dream of going to Peru but you want to wait until you have enough money, you’ll never have enough money. Do what you can now. Constantly worrying about tomorrow will only lead to stress and coronary issues that you don’t need or want.

So I’m making sure that I make the time for the things that I love to do, like writing this blog, traveling, and spending time with amazing people, such as my family, friends and my CrossFit East Region family. Being surrounded by people who love you and accept you for who you are is an amazing blessing and I am blessed.

With that said I’m moving in a new direction. Each week my blog posts will be postcards from me to you. My thoughts, my travels, and my loves. As I mentioned earlier I’ll be traveling next weekend to Europe so stay tuned because next week I’ll write to you from Amsterdam!

Until then.
