I thought I would take the month of March to celebrate Ireland. It’s taken me a while but I’m a huge fan of the country. From its people to its cities and traditions. It’s an unassuming country that is comfortable and friendly. No matter where you go someone will strike up a conversation with you and the scenery will envelop you. These are photos from my first trip to Ireland. Coincidentally I was there in March. Enjoy!

If you have the opportunity, travel the Wild Atlantic Way. It not only is the scenery breathtaking but you have ample places to pull over and have lunch. This shot was taken in Achill Island, one of the vacation islands in County Mayo.

Cliffs of Moher sit pretty much halfway down the western coast of Ireland. It is probably one of the most photographed views in Ireland. When I was there it was so windy I was worried I was going to be blown over the side!

While driving down the Wild Atlantic Way make sure to take the time to veer off the main road. We found this charming waterfall in Glencar because there was a road sign pointing us toward it. The waterfall leads into a beautiful lake and sitting across the road from the lake is a delicious cafe where we grabbed lunch.

This was taken on the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge on the Antrim coast. This day it was so windy they closed the bridge while we were trying to cross back over! Gorgeous views though.

If you have a chance to visit Giant’s Causeway it’s worth the trip. The rock formations are something and you could spend hours hiking along the cliff edge. How nice would it be if this was the view from your house?

Let me know what you think of my photos! Until next time.
