Happy November! (the month of gratitude)

Every November we take the time to remember and say what we\’re thankful for. I was recently looking up writing prompts for November and noticed that the majority of them are on the topic of gratitude. This month I thought I would kick it off by writing what I\’m grateful for.


It took me a while to get where I am. To be happy with the body I have. There are definitely days when I feel like I definitely could stand to lose a few pounds. I\’m only human but I\’m grateful for the fact that I have my health and that I\’m able to live pain free. There have been times in my health journey where I have literally felt broken. I\’m grateful that I\’m in a place where I feel good and I can still go out and run if I choose to.


My family is made up of a group of incredible people. I\’m not only talking about my immediate family but I\’m talking about those people who have become so precious to me that they have become my extended family. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who are inspiring. 


I\’m grateful for my beliefs and my faith. It is the glue that holds me together. It is what helps me be the best person I can be and I am grateful to have it.

I\’ve noticed that I\’m grateful for the things I cannot buy. Those things that enrich your life that doesn\’t cost a dime. What are you grateful for?
