WOD Wednesday: The Open

This week Open registration begins as does the official start to the CrossFit season. So what does this mean for us? Well the Open is the perfect opportunity to get your feet wet in a CrossFit style competition. It\’s also a great way to see where you are in the CrossFit spectrum. How do you stack up compared to Brooke Ence or Rich Froning? Or how do you compare to other people in your age bracket? No matter what it\’s a great test to see how far you\’ve come in your fitness journey.

So for the next couple of weeks I\’m going to put up past Open WODs and modify them for those of you who travel and can\’t get to a conventional gym or don\’t have access to the necessary equipment.

What you\’ll need: A tape measure.

Open WOD 12.1

7 minute AMRAP (As many reps as possible) of Burpees to a 6\” target.

The 6\” target should be 6 inches above your middle finger when it is stretched out overhead.
